This has led to the following decision that our main focus will be on Discord for all of the server updates, bugs, support line, and more which will make it more active and worth looking at. This means less hassle to check forums and Discord as now you know everything will be on Discord.

    I like this idea - I know we already offer pure ess, different arrows, logs and stuff...but i know we don't offer a large variety of herbs, ores, bars, etc. Definitely wouldn't be against this at all. As a follow-up question: Are there any rewards in the trivia you feel don't belong or are just straight up useless now?
  3. We've gotten lots of suggestions rolling into the server and I've been wanting to make a poll to make sure that these suggestions are going to resonate with the community as a whole. If you have any ideas on future server suggestions, please do not hesitate to add them below. Please keep suggestions reasonable and don't add things like "Raids." or "I want more bosses". We (staff / dev team) already know and would love to give it to you, but can't right now. If this poll is successful, then I will start to do these on a regular basis to help provide a little insight on what the community wants and what could be future updates / features.
  4. CONTENT UPDATES AMETHYST! Players are now able to mine amethyst. This is located in the dwarven mining guild (accessible from the Ancient Wizard). Additionally you are able to craft your amethyst ore into any of the following: Bolt tips, Arrowheads, Javelin Heads Please note: We know that darts are not in this currently, they will be added at a later date. And finally, you are able to fletch these into the arrows, bolts (need broad fletching from slayer), and javelins! QOL CHANGES - The currency to repair items is now coins instead of blood money. (Item shown in example below is repairing a "Colorful Max Cape") - Basilisk Jaw has been added back into slayer shop. (300 points) - Added Dragonstone to thieving rewards from Gem Stalls - Slayer helmet now gives you the option to teleport to slayer task or master and check remaining kill count when using "operate" when equipped. - Battlemage & Bastion potions have been added back into BM store (1500 ea) - ::home teleport and spellbook home teleport are now faster - Zamorak Boss in GWD now respawns in 90s instead of 135s (This is identical to OSRS spawn timer now) - Added support to make studded chaps and chest (Use steel studs on leather chaps/chest) - Added burnt bones spawns into wilderness. Before, ironmen had no way of getting these for prayer tasks. - Added the ability to get redwood trees as a woodcutting task - Legendary Donator zone no longer has a cooldown timer. - The coin amount to skip tasks have been halved. BUG FIXES - You should no longer be teleported mid-fight to do an event. - Farming cape didn't have the farming teleports like it's farming cape (t) counterpart. - Fixed a spacing error in the chat box when someone gets a pet. - "Dismantle" option on Dragon Boots (G) now works. - Fixed Ardougne Max cape to go to the same teleport spots as Ardougne 4 Cape - Fixed cooking message that showed "@whi @" at the beginning. - Fixed an issue where tormented bracelet did not add the 5% damage boost if you had occult necklace on. - Fixed an issue where vials of water packs were free. This update does NOT require a new client. As long as you are updated to client 7.27, you can play! Enjoy!
  5. Content Updates More Skilling Pets! We've introduced 5 new skilling pets for you to obtain. Phoenix (Firemaking) Herbi (Herblore) Baby Chimchompa (Morphable) (Hunter) Giant Squirrel (Agility) Tangleroot (Farming) Farming Cape Enhancements You're now able to teleport to all farming spots available in the game (minus donator zones). This is able to be used both while in the inventory or equipped. Castle Wars ticket increase When playing castle wars, you will receive an extra 5 tickets per game. This is added to the tickets that you receive based on your score (up to 5). - Max amount of tickets you are able to receive is now 10. Bug Fixes - Fixed an issue with Minigames that would not teleport you if you logged out. - Fixed an issue where Zulrah minions were not spawning. - Fixed the ability to craft Dragon Boots (g) using dragon boots + dragon boots ornament kit. - Fixed the ability to not be able to use logs on the permanent fires outside of home bank & in Karamja fishing area. - Your knife will no longer disappear when click "craft" option on celastrus bark. - Fixed issue where you were able to use donator commands (::hp, ::bank, ::spec) in corp area. - Fixed issue where you couldn't use donator commands (::hp, ::bank, ::spec) in kalphite area. You are still unable to use commands in Kalphite Queen area. - Disabled Trahaern Mine teleport through Ancient Wizard as this sends you to a bugged area. - Updated the wording when crafting glass items. - Updated wording when reaching max level (99) to make more sense. - The dragon chainbody in Mystery Boxes is now the correct id. - You should no longer get teleported mid combat to do a random event. This update does not require a new client. As long as you are updated to client 7.27, you can play! Enjoy!

    Even as a staff member, I can actually see this not being a terrible idea. I think about it like this: Make the name change $20-30 USD. They are then forced to support the server if they want to continue to play/get out of extended punishments. Even if you think that's a little steep, make it $10-20 USD, and that would be a little more reasonable for something like a name change. This could even be a tradable object to help out in eco a bit too. I have more on how as a staff member this can be avoided, but can speak on that through PMs and whatnot. Let me know.

    Hey Aztec, The result of the items in your bank being reduced was due to an economy reset. That being said, we are in the process of putting in counter measures into the game to make sure that this type of thing won't happen again. But there is also no guarantee that this won't need to happen again - but if it did, it would not happen for a long time from now. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

    I believe he is referring to the skilling tomes that currently exist in-game. - Fishing, agility, wcing, fming, mining, etc As much as I want to agree with you as a fellow classic player, I do have to say that it would make it a bit to easy even beyond where it is now. I think that having them not included and having those few "grind" skills is what makes Grinderscape...well...Grinderscape.

    With the latest server restart, it looks like Cerberus now does magic damage as the primary damage instead of range. If following this guide, please make sure to use Magic instead of Range prayer. You can go to the wiki for some more detailed information on the boss.   15. Alright, so I've seen a lot of talking about the drop rates change. Change: - MASSIVE WORK ON DROPS for all bosses, overall rates, and item quantities for boss drops: * Whole formulas are redone, and this should make all the drop rates easier in general by at least 30-40% compared to the old system. Enjoy great drops. I wanted to make a forum post about this to talk about and figure out whether or not the community likes this change.30-40% Drop Increase makes it so all end game items are attained much easier. A 30-40% drop increase makes end-game items (twisted bow, rapier, justicar armor, etc) to be priced lower. Normal items (whips, dragon items, etc) are also easier to obtain, making it easier for newer players to get what they need...faster. Item prices crash, gold isn't really worth as much anymore...so let's talk about those. Disclaimer: These are my own personal opinions and thoughts on the drop rate change. End Game Items Being Attained Easier Now this might sound like a good thing, especially to newer players. You might think, oh nice, I can get the items faster and be at end game. But a lot of the reason to kill "end game" bosses (Vorkath, Hydra, Tarn, etc) is to their most coveted drops. If absolutely anyone can get it, then what point is there to kill the boss? You've got the drop. The drop really isn't worth much anymore since it's much easier to obtain, so you stop farming it. I personally watched 12 twisted bows enter the game yesterday (09/22/2020) from Mutant Tarn alone. That means at that rate, in 1 week - 84 twisted bows enter the game. We average about 140 players (roughly), and that means in 1 week over half of the of the active serverbase can have a tbow. One big thing for me personally is the pet drops. The pet drops having increased rates as well make them just another drop and not the big reward. The reward that makes you want to farm a boss for hundreds of kills because it's all you have left to finish off it's drop log. Pets are no longer a huge "oh my god! i finally got it!" moment, and that's just disappointing Normal Items Being Attained Easier Now, this is where i agree the drop rate change is good. I think that having items such as abyssal whip, dragon gear (platebody, chain, platelegs, etc), etc gear being easier to get is absolutely great. Does it affect the price of them? Yeah. But it was already cheap as it was. This just makes it easier for newer players to gear and further themselves in the game! So they are able to work themselves closer to bossing and learning how to do the end game content. Overall, this piece of the change is great! Item Price Crashes: What does it affect? So from what I've seen so far in the last couple days since the update. Prices are going to crash. Nobody is buying end game items because nobody knows what the prices are going to sit at. This is causing a surplus of items to start to grow on people and the prices are going to absolutely PLUMMET into the ground so people can just sell these extra items. This can affect a few different things. Gold might have the possibly of not being worth much anymore. What do you spend money on when you can spend a couple hours getting what you want? What's the purpose of having gold in the first place? Gambling? Buying rares / stuff not easily obtainable through boss drops? Having a nice looking cashstack in your bank? RS3 / OSRS Gold Trading is likely to drop as well. With people not needing to buy end game items cause they are easy to get / crazy cheap, the gold not being worth what it used too...it makes the desire to sell OSRS and RS3 gold for Grinderscape invisible. A lot of what I see (especially as a middle man), is people selling gold to do 1 of several things: Gamble Buy big / end game items (Justi sets, Max Range, Max Mage...etc) Both of the things above. Overall, the largest worry I have is the overall game economy is going to go to the crapper. Gold isn't going to be worth much. People aren't going to sell rs gold. Boss items should be worth something. They SHOULD be rare. They should be farmed for hours, days, weeks to get what you need. People should go on dry streaks to get that big ticket item. It's what makes doing bosses worth it. It's what keeps the economy stable. So now, I'd like to hear from the community. What are your thoughts on it? Let me know what you think!
