This forum is deprecated.

We’ve decided to deprecate the community forum starting August 29, 2022. We will keep all existing accounts, threads and comments, but no new registrations will be accepted after that date. Our initial intention was for this forum to be a place where the community could communicate and interact about all things from Grinderscape. However, over the years, most of the posts have amounted to Discord such as general chat, bug reports or feature requests, much resembling a more professional and advanced way of communicating. This has led to the following decision that our main focus will be on Discord for all of the server updates, bugs, support line, and more which will make it more active and worth looking at. This means less hassle to check forums and Discord as now you know everything will be on Discord.

Good afternoon, or whenever you read this.

For a long time, I have seen people make a fuss (moderators, but also ordinary players who, in my opinion, want to have fun) about language in ::yell.

Someone just has to say for example: 'Shit', I died from Vorkath, and it is immediately made into a whole problem.

and as a result you can even be muted.. for literally nothing.

Stop EXAGGERATING.

Its like you're telling a 10 year old kid to don't say "Shit' or whatever.

Now that has been said, I'm gone, cya

Personally I think it’s a little exaggerated. I’ve seen people jump on a guy for saying “shit I just died” in my opinion things like that are fine. That people should really only get “in trouble” for insulting/flaming/raging/inappropriate jokes etc.

but then again it’s not hard to not cuss in the clan chat and try to keep it as friendly and helpful as you can.

Totally agree with you @Groovy !

That was exactly what I meant :)

Sure I understand that insulting or flaming at each other or something in that direction is not allowed and is not acceptable.

I especially meant that people jump right at you. And I do not only mean myself but also others.

Was just curious how people thought about it.

And btw Jordan, I was not attacking you or something because it just happened.

I would never scold at any1 or anything in that direction myself🙂

The rule says only Excessive Profanity I don't really see a problem with the word 'shit'.
Also when it's not directed to someone or playing dumb around it, it's totally fine. @lisaxx

I really can't see how this is a problem, if somebody has a problem with the way you talk on the chat they can ignore you, or set they're chats to private so they don't gotta see it, unless obviously its some excessive rampage then staff will obviously deal with it. 🙂
