🎃 Halloween & Duo Slayer Update – Patch v1.79 🎃

The spookiest update of the year is here — packed with new Halloween content, Duo Slayer, and tons of fixes & improvements! 👻

🕸️ Halloween Event 2025:

  • Fully themed Halloween makeover across website, Discord, wiki & in-game.

  • New Halloween questline and mini event:
    • Kill zombies to obtain the Zombie Axe ⚔️
    • Use it to slay the new Vampyre Boss that drops the Death Note 🧛
    • Deliver it to Sharatheerk, then meet the Grim Reaper for your next task ☠️
    • Retrieve the Grim Reaper’s Diary from the Mimic Boss to finish the story.

  • Dynamic Halloween login screen, music, decorations, and premium store update.

  • Added Grim Reaper death animation when players die.

🤝 Duo Slayer Released!

  • Start by using your enchanted gem on your partner.

  • Neither player should have an active slayer task.

  • Slaying task monsters will reward both players' experience.

  • Slayer partner is removed if the player completes their task or logs out.

  • Team up with a friend and take on Slayer tasks together!

  • Shared XP, shared loot, and shared pain 💀

  • Full interface & system integration for easy pairing and tracking.

🧟 Fun Event Boss Overhaul

  • Added 4 new Fun Bosses with unique mechanics & boosted rewards 💰

  • Fixed a rare bug where Fun Bosses died but dropped no loot.

  • Greg's door improved by boosted stats, and added to Voting Store with Giant’s Boulder which is very useful for tanking.

⚔️ Gameplay & Fixes

  • Fixed Scythe animations.

  • Added Armoured Zombie's poison pools mechanics.

  • Fixed Venator Bow arrow duplication.

  • Fixed Opal Dragonstone bolts (e) equip bug.

  • Fixed CoX Tekton multi-spawning.

  • Fixed Sarachnis pet ID & Gargoyle damage clamp.

  • Fixed Armadyl GWD grapple position.

  • Fixed Highscores update sync issue.

  • Fixed disconnect rollbacks.

  • Added toggle buttons for music & sound in client settings.

  • Client gameframe redone to stop flame freezes at login.

💀 Other Additions

  • Added Corrupted weapons (Twisted Bow, Tumeken, Scythe, etc.)
    → 10–25% stronger stats & 10% chance to deal doom damage!

  • Master Farmer seed rewards rebalanced.

  • Improved banking & performance when depositing inventory.

  • Updated Grand Exchange & Trading interfaces.

  • Added Rubber Chicken with “Whack” ability 🐔

  • Updated server announcements to be cleaner & clearer.

  • Updated the trading interface.
