I am hesitant to grind some skills for supplies again as the last time I logged on all of my potions, skilling supplies, and runes were greatly reduced. This also happened with some of my other item sets. I am curious as to if this is going to happen again in the future?

Hey Aztec,

The result of the items in your bank being reduced was due to an economy reset. That being said, we are in the process of putting in counter measures into the game to make sure that this type of thing won't happen again. 

But there is also no guarantee that this won't need to happen again - but if it did, it would not happen for a long time from now.
