The Shooting Star event offers an exciting and rewarding activity for players who enjoy mining. Here’s everything you need to know:
Global Notification: When a shooting star lands, all players are notified with vibrant visual effects and immersive sounds.

Multiple Locations: Shooting stars can land in over 29 unique spots across various cities in the game world.

Spawn Frequency: A shooting star spawns every 45 minutes in-game and remains active for 30 minutes before despawning.

Mining Layers: Stars have 7 layers to mine. The outer layers grant higher experience and require higher Mining levels, while inner layers are progressively easier.

First Player Reward: The first player to spot and mine the star is announced globally and receives participation points along with a significant Mining XP boost.

Pet Chance Boost: Mining shooting stars increases your chance of obtaining the Mining pet.

Wilderness Bonus: Stars that land in the Wilderness provide increased experience but come with the risk of PvP.

Mining Tracker: Your account tracks the total number of stars you’ve mined, letting you monitor your progress.

Inspect the Star: Right-clicking to inspect the star reveals its level and the percentage mined.

Better Pickaxe, Faster Mining: Using a superior pickaxe improves your mining speed, allowing you to collect Stardust more efficiently.

Glove Effects: Special gloves may enhance your mining efficiency during the event.

Stardust Shop: Collect Stardust from mining the star and exchange it for exclusive items at the special Shooting Star shop.

3. Wear a Tiara, Earn Bonus XP!
Equip the tiara corresponding to your crafting pillar and enjoy a 15% XP boost for that rune.

For every player near the altar, all players receive:

Anti botting:

We have introduced 10 new anti-botting mechanics for thieving stalls and other skills to maintain a fair and enjoyable experience for all players. These measures aim to prevent botting and preserve the integrity of the game. Based on our statistics, thieving is the most botted skill, and these improvements are specifically designed to ensure fair play for everyone. Thank you for supporting a bot-free gaming environment!

1. Swarm Attack:
A swarm of pesky insects may spawn near you, dealing 1 damage per hit regardless of prayer.
The swarm will only disappear if you: run far away, die, or hide in an area it cannot reach.

2. Booby-Trapped Stalls:
Beware of traps! Some stalls may trigger a trap that deals damage when you attempt to steal.

3. Missed Steals:
Occasionally, your attempt to steal will fail, displaying a message that you missed the stall. This feature helps counteract botting scripts.

4. Guard Spawns:
A Market Guard might spawn near you and attack. You can either run away or defeat the guard to make it vanish.

5. Stall Cooldowns:
Some stalls will temporarily go into a cooldown period after being stolen from multiple times. All nearby players will receive a message indicating the stall is unavailable for a short time.

6. Junk Loot:
You may sometimes grab a useless junk item instead of the actual loot. Stay vigilant!

7. Mysterious Man Event:
A Mysterious Man may teleport you to a portal area. To return, you must choose the correct portal. Can you find your way back?

8. Sandwich Event:
A Sandwich Lady might appear, offering you a selection of sandwiches. Choose the correct sandwich to avoid her wrath!

9. Frog Event:
A Frog Prince/Princess may summon you, asking for your help. Ignoring the frog increases the likelihood of future random events, so think twice before skipping this encounter!

10. Stall Guards:
Nearby guards will now actively monitor the area around stalls. If they see you stealing, they may attack on sight. Be stealthy or prepared to fight back!

Falador Party Room - Drop Party System!
How It Works:

Players can deposit items into the Falador Party Room Chest.
Once the jackpot reaches 10B GP, a drop party is automatically triggered, and it can also be manually triggered by staff.
A 15-minute countdown begins, notifying all players.
NPCs & Global Announcements will inform players about the upcoming event.
Items are randomly dropped inside the Falador Party Room.

Announcements & Countdown:

Once a drop party is triggered, a global announcement is sent in-game.
A Discord alert notifies all players.
NPCs across major cities will talk about the event.
The 15-minute countdown will remind players at 10m, 5m, 3m, 2m, and 1m remaining.

Drop Party Details:

When the countdown reaches 0, items start dropping inside the party room.
Items are dropped randomly across the floor every 5 seconds across different batches.
Stackable items can be divided and dropped in different stacks to ensure fairness.
The drop party continues until all items have been placed on the ground.
