🕷️ Patch v1.80 – Araxxor, Pest Control Scaling & Combat Rework ⚔️

This update brings a deadly new boss, a full rework to Pest Control scaling, and dozens of deep combat system fixes for smoother, more accurate gameplay!


🕸️ New Boss: Araxxor:

  • Found in Morytania Spider Cave (requires 92 Slayer).

  • Drops: Nid Pet, Araxyte Fang, and Noxious Halberd parts.

  • Introduces the new Amulet of Rancour — crafted by attaching an Araxyte Fang to an Amulet of Torture.

  • Best-in-slot melee amulet with +10 attack and +2 strength over Torture, but negative magic/ranged stats for balance.

  • Added support for Araxyte Slayer Helmet creation through the Slayer rewards interface.

⚔️ Pest Control Scaling:

  • Brand new dynamic scaling system!

  • Portal HP, pest strength, and spawn rates scale with team size.

  • Difficulty resets after each match for balance.

  • Full scaling notifications for all players in-game.


🩸 Combat System Fixes:

  • Spirit Shields:
    • Elysian now triggers properly with a 70% roll.
    • Divine rebuilt for accurate 30% damage reduction (uses prayer correctly).
    • Spectral now halves non-PvP prayer drain.

  • Shove Special fully redone — correctly stuns & pushes targets, even bosses.

  • Dragon Godsword Special fixed — shows “0” damage hits visually while keeping proper calculations.

  • 3rd Age Staff/Bow now perform double-hit mechanics with correct timing.

  • Anti-Drag Plugin added to prevent drag misclicks in PvP.

  • Improved targeting, pathing, and proximity logic for smoother PvP & PvM.

  • Magic & ranged can now attack instantly when stacked on an enemy.

  • Fixed unintended ranged delay when fighting on the same tile.

     

     

     

     

💎 Other Changes & Fixes:

  • Updated Wilderness Champion gear & Cape of Skulls: reduced magic/ranged stats, added prayer penalties for balance.

  • Restricted Abomination loot to nearby players who dealt damage.

  • Nerfed Mimic Boss respawn timer.

  • Improved XP drop overlay and infobox positioning — no more UI overlap.

  • Added Cursed Vault warning dialogue before teleporting.

  • Fixed box trap relog bug.

  • Optimized venom pool damage region checks for better performance.
