We’ve decided to deprecate the community forum starting August 29, 2022. We will keep all existing accounts, threads and comments, but no new registrations will be accepted after that date. Our initial intention was for this forum to be a place where the community could communicate and interact about all things from Grinderscape. However, over the years, most of the posts have amounted to Discord such as general chat, bug reports or feature requests, much resembling a more professional and advanced way of communicating. This has led to the following decision that our main focus will be on Discord for all of the server updates, bugs, support line, and more which will make it more active and worth looking at. This means less hassle to check forums and Discord as now you know everything will be on Discord.

  1. Nothing to do with pkers not being able to handle it man we made do and made it work! Yeah it was overpowered but with everyone using it, all came down to the individuals skill! The biggest issue is the fact its so cheap, it's unlosable and only breaks, instantly removes 4 items of risk when pking, out dps' armour that shows a larger str value and is frankly shameful to have as a bis set. Granted it should be up there but for 140k bm or 280m compared to spending bills on actual sets is kinda disgusting and removes their uses substantially. Considering if you ran a to be considered bis setup of ancestral, morrigans and vestas switches, plus the weapons and other slots too is in excess of like 5b+, kinda stupid to have such a versatile setup such as void outperform it. This will hopefully see a rise in people actually making use of the proper sets as intended which would also hopefully see a rise in prices of the better sets stabilising the market some more and having them as more than just a placeholder in ones bank. Not to even mention that with void hopefully being removed as the go to for pking, it should see a rise in people actually wanting to pk, the risks taken and the risks to be recieved and inevitably grow the pking population and the server. Not in a harsh way but anyone that wanted to pk hated the void and shortly stopped pking afterwards lol.
  2. Disagree, the changes are perfect as are. Void was too overpowered especially in pvp the nerf was very much needed, hopefully this will see a rise in people actually risking some gear if they want to be in the wild or if they use void, won't be as op as those that do risk better sets. Besides the wild aspect, being able to spend 140k bm for a set of unlosable best in slot armour for all 3 styles in comparison to spending in excess of 1b+ for what should be BiS pieces is again too overpowered and the price hike is very well received!! Will be interesting to see the combinations people start using. Great updates dude!

Intro Okay so this will be a brief, comprehensive guide for those of you wishing to kill Kamil as Efficiently as possible! In my opinion mage is by far the best way to rack up those kills, as when done correctly banking is not required at all! Kamil drops some of the best magic items in the game, ranging from a few good staffs (which are great for alts and mage pures), bulk rune drops, the lucrative white whip, the darkness set and right the way through to seers and seer ring(i) (Which is best in slot for any magic user). Inventory This is the typical inventory I bring to Kamil, just to compensate for the times he doesn't drop food or potions (although i have not needed them yet) and allows me to camp for the desired length of time. Access So to reach Kamil you will need to use the Kamil teleport under the boss teleport tab. From here a Killcount of 5 mobs is required to then pass through the cave, into Kamil's Lair. This can easily be done by grouping up a few of the trolls in the area, with protect from melee active and barraging them down (As Seen Below). After your killcount has been reached, a small trip westwards past more trolls and wolves will bring you to a cave entrance. After Passing this cave, continue East past a few more mobs to reach the Ice Plane which is Kamils Lair. Tactic So to maximise those kills per hour, we're going to exploit his magic weakness, ideally using Ice Barrage (Although Ice Burst can be just as effective) and employing the freeze and run tactic listed below. By using this method, Kamil is a very self sustaining boss. By dropping Super Restore (4) potions, chocolate cakes and avoiding as much damage as possible will allow you to camp this boss till your heart is content. So we are going to use one of 2 "Safe Spots" by freezing him in place and moving to the other, preventing him from being able to melee hit you and thus taking no damage. Now the only time you will actually need prayer is a quick flick to melee protect whilst catching the freeze in the desired spot. As you can see above I quickly flick my protection prayer on just to catch the freeze in front of me before moving to the alternative spot. Kamil does have 1 other ability besides his melee attack, in which he will cast a freezing spell on you when in close proximity, this can easily be avoided by protecting melee when catching the freeze just in case prior to moving spots. Outro With everything considered, Kamil is a really easy boss to kill, drops some pretty sweet loots and is a great start for anyone looking to min max their gear sets! Below you will find a Video guide for those preferring to watch over read. Above all i hope you enjoy the guide and it helps some of you achieve those sweet sweet loots we're all down to obtain!! Peace out, D [video will be uploaded later on this evening after rendering process]

Okay guys as the old guide was missing some information/outdated, I thought it might be a good idea to redo and update the bones to experience guide for anyone looking to calculate their prayer costs. So there is 2 main places you can do this: The First being in wild resource area at lvl 54, found under the skilling teleport tab, has a Chaos alter to lay bones on, boasting the same experience as the one in the donator zone and inevitably the best prayer experience for the small risk you take. Experience / Bones to 99: Bones - 696xp / 18,727 Bones, Big Bones - 1,479xp / 8,814 Bones, Dragon/Wyvern Bones - 7,308xp / 1,784 Bones, Fayrg Bones - 8,526xp / 1,529 Bones, Dagganoth Bones - 12,615xp / 1,033 Bones, Lava Dragon Bones - 14,181xp / 920 Bones, Zogre/Ourg Bones - 37,845xp / 344 Bones, Superior Dragon Bones - 43,326xp / 301 Bones, Long Bones/Curved Bones - 60,900xp / 215 Bones. The second being the Magical alter at home, located just North of the Bank, for those not wanting to take any risk whilst training Prayer, however at a reduced experience rate. Experience / Bones to 99: Bones - 464xp / 28,092 Bones, Big Bones - 986xp / 13,220 Bones, Dragon/Wyvern Bones - 4,872xp / 2,676 Bones, Fayrg Bones - 5,684xp / 2,294 Bones, Dagganoth Bones - 8,410xp / 1,550 Bones, Lava Dragon Bones - 9,454xp / 1,379 Bones, Zogre/Ourg Bones - 25,230xp / 517 Bones, Superior Dragon Bones - 28,884xp / 452 Bones, Long Bones/Curved Bones - 40,600xp / 322 Bones. So just to conclude, as you can see for yourself, it is a considerable amount faster to finish this task up at the wild Chaos alter! For the small risk you take (considering there is a bank in the area), is safe to say it's worth the time and money saved for an easy 99. Hope this guide helps those looking to reach their goal off 99 Prayer! Peace, D
