*** Golden Rule - Use Common Sense! ***

 

Note: If you want staff to take action for any offense you see a player commit. You must collect evidence of the rule being broken for staff to take action. This can be with pictures (Gyazo, light shot) or with a video. Please do not spam staff if you don't have proof of an offense.

Note: All punishments listed for rules are only guidelines and punishments will vary depending on the severity of the situation.

Note: Any "Permanent" punishment is classified as "6 months" minimum.

Note: Please remember that all rules apply for the Forums and Shoutbox.

 

 

 

Account Related Offenses

Breaking any of these rules over yell will result in a worse punishment.
Soliciting others into breaking a rule (may it be provoking or blackmailing) is illegal and will result in a temporary or permanent mute depending on the situation.

 

 

Buying & Selling accounts

GrinderScape prohibits players from Buying or Selling Forums accounts. Any account caught breaking this rule will be automatically banned from our Forums and possibly transfer into In-game punishment.

Punishment: Permanent ban (10 points)

 

 

Account sharing

GrinderScape prohibits players from sharing Forums accounts. Any account caught breaking this rule will be automatically banned from our Forums and possibly transfer into In-game punishment. Our Staff Members will never ask for your account details.

Punishment: Permanent ban (10 points)

 

 

Inappropriate Usernames

GrinderScape prohibits players from creating a Forums Account with a inappropriate username. This includes pornographic names, swear words, illegal activities, ect.

Punishment: Permanent ban (10 points)

 

 

Profile picture & Signature

GrinderScape prohibits players from having an unauthorized Profile picture, Cover photo, Signature, ect. Unauthorized content includes Nudity, Illegal content, Racism, Advertisement, ect.

Punishment: Temporary Suspension ( 1 point ) - Temporary ban ( 5 points ) - Permanent ban (10 points)

 

 

 

Chat Related Offenses

Advertising Other Private Servers (RSPS)

GrinderScape prohibits players from advertising any other Runescape Private Servers (RSPS). This includes In-Game invites, Discord invites, Private Message invites. A warning will only be given out if we determine it is an unintentional discussion.

Punishment: Warn ( 1 point ) - Permanent ban ( 10 points )

 

Cyber-Bullying

GrinderScape prohibits players from Cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is classified as the use of electronic communication to bully another person typically by sending messages of an intimidating or threatening manor.

Punishment: Temporary Suspension ( 1 point ) - Temporary ban ( 5 points ) - Permanent ban ( 10 points )

 

 

Discrimination 

GrinderScape prohibits players from Discriminating any players. Discrimination includes Age, Disability, Sexual orientation, Religion, National origin, Race, Color, and or Sex.

Punishment: Temporary Suspension ( 1 point ) - Temporary ban ( 5 points ) - Permanent ban ( 10 points )

 

 

Spamming/Chat flooding

GrinderScape prohibits players from Spamming the Shout-box. Spamming the Shout-box is classified as sending 3 of the same messages without another message being sent from another player.

Punishment: Warn ( 1 point ) - 2nd Warn ( 5 points ) - Temporary suspension ( 10 points )

 

 

Excessive Profanity

GrinderScape prohibits players from using Excessive Profanity. Excessive Profanity is a chat related offense that uses curse words, cusswords, swear words, bad words. This includes dirty language, dirty jokes, dirty stories, ect. Cussing in the clan chat ''Help'' is not allowed either.

Punishment: Warn ( 1 point ) - Temporary Suspension ( 5 points ) - Temporary ban ( 10 points )

 

 

Discussing illegal activities

GrinderScape prohibits players from Discussing Illegal topics. This includes Pornography, Drugs, Murder, Stealing, ect.

Punishment: Warn ( 1 point ) - Temporary Suspension ( 5 points ) - Temporary ban ( 10 points )

 

 

Other languages

 

GrinderScape prohibits players from speaking any other language than English in our Forums or Shout-box for Official Discussion. This means when a player is submitting an Application, Replying to a Staff Member, Making an appeal, ect. they must use English.

Punishment: Warn ( 1 point ) - 2nd Warn ( 5 points ) - Temporary Suspension ( 10 points )

Thread-Count Boosting

GrinderScape prohibits players from Thread-count Boosting. Thread-count boosting is classified as posting random threads in various sections of the Forums to increase the count of your Thread and or Post count. This also includes Double posting.

Punishment: Warn ( 1 point ) - 2nd Warn ( 5 points ) - Temporary suspension ( 10 points )

 

Disrespecting Staff Members or their decisions

All staff decisions are final. Any disrespect, be it public or privately will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with a decision, then deal with it in private with the staff member. All staff members watch over each other. If a higher authority believes that an unjust decision was made, then compromises will follow.

Punishment: Warn ( 1 point ) - Temporary ban ( 5 points ) - Permanent ban ( 10 points )

 

Impersonation

GrinderScape prohibits players from impersonating In-Game Staff Members, Forums Staff Members, and Official Middleman (OMM). This includes harmful intentions, jokes, obtain free items/gp, attention seeking, ect. 

Punishment: Warn ( 1 point ) - Temporary ban ( 5 points ) - Permanent ban ( 10 points )

 

Harassment

We take cyber bullying very seriously here at Grinderscape. If you harass members in the forums by doing any of these things you will be warned, and if you decide to continue, you will be silenced, infracted or banned depending on the severity of one's posts/shouts. Trolling other players is fine, as long as what you are doing is appropriate and is not harassing a player.

Punishment: Warn ( 1 point ) - Temporary ban ( 5 points ) - Permanent ban ( 10 points )

 

Manipulating Staff Members

GrinderScape prohibits players from trying to Manipulate Staff Members. This means when facing a punishments you try to lie, use your rank, or bribe our Staff Members out of the punishment or for a smaller punishment.

Punishment: Warn ( 1 point ) - Temporary Suspension ( 5 points ) - Permanent ban ( 10 points )

 

Inappropriate content

Posting pornographic material, morbid images and shock site links will not be tolerated. If you post an image or link containing the following, you will be infracted/banned immediately. Do not "hide" links using bb code or a website, this goes with links that redirect to a different location. These types of links are made to fool the user into clicking them, and usually are not for a good reason. It may seem obvious, but any type of virus you link on the forums will earn you a permanent ban. Note: this includes over forum personal messages as well; if someone complains about an inappropriate pm they have been sent, action will be taken with sufficient evidence.

Punishment: Temporary Suspension ( 1 point ) - Temporary ban ( 5 points ) - Permanent ban ( 10 points )

 

Posting in the wrong section

Double posting and posting in the wrong section are minor offenses, though is still illegal unless obligated to by a forum staff member. You will receive a warning if you fail to comply, and further consequences will apply if actions persist. 

Punishment: Warn ( 1 point ) - 2nd Warn ( 5 points ) - Temporary Suspension ( 10 points )

 

Racism, sexism, religious intolerance or prejudice

We do not tolerate prejudice. If you are racist, religiously intolerant or hold any prejudice against a different race/gender/belief you will be warned and/or banned depending on the situation.

Punishment: Temporary Suspension ( 1 point ) - Temporary ban ( 5 points ) - Permanent ban ( 10 points )

 

Evading Punishments

Players who have received host-bans or host-mutes and decide to evade their punishment will simply be given the punishment once more and have their initial punishment's duration increased. Please also note that evading punishments will significantly decrease the probability of a player's punishment appeal being accepted. 

Punishment: Temporary Suspension ( 1 point ) - Temporary ban ( 5 points ) - Permanent ban ( 10 points )

 

 

Falsifying a Report

Grinderscape prohibits players from falsifying any and all reports. Falsifying a report is classified as making an official statement to a Staff Member of a rule breaker or a bug that doesn't exist. This includes Bugs, Players, and Staff Members.

Punishment: Warn ( 1 point ) - Temporary suspension ( 5 points ) - Temporary ban ( 10 points )
